Far Cry Primal: New Trailer Revealed; Ubisoft Title to Push Without Multiplayer Feature?

By

As Ubisoft advances towards the launch of Far Cry Primal, a new trailer rises once again to have fans stuck onto the series. The highly-awaited title may also have one surprise that will defy the trend that runs across the gaming world today.

According to Maxim, the latest release footage for Far Cry Primal showcased something a little bit different from the previous videos. It starts off with a modern day shooting scene that depicts a series of era changes as the character moves forward, such as going to a World War II scenario and going back to the older English wars, then medieval times and finally, the caveman era.

As per Hardcore Gamer, the probable logic of the footage is to take out one element of the Far Cry universe and have the gamers no longer rely on firepower to get things done. As one of the game's captions stated, Far Cry Primal will no longer be about the firearms and such but more towards relying on a player's gut instincts in order to survive.

As the lead soldier in the video rolls on, his weapons start to somewhat downgrade itself into that which is more primitive, coming from the rifles, to a crossbow finally, a piece of animal bone to take on the Sabertooth Tiger adversary.

Noted by Digital Trends, Far Cry Primal not only promises a different kind of theme from its predecessors, but also did something away from the modern day game marketing strategy. Ubisoft declared that Far Cry Primal may not be equipped with a multiplayer feature to keep the context of the game intact and keep the essence of the story going.

Far Cry Primal was said to have other players worried that it will not be as greatly interesting as the other titles before it.  The fifth game if the series is slated for launch on February 23rd for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 while the PC version comes on March 1st.
