One Punch Man Season 2 to possibly premiere in November; Lord Boros uses regenerative powers, Saitama to face new villain

The successful anime series One Punch Man will be immediately followed by Season 2 with Lord Boros regenerative powers to match against Saitama's powerful blows. A new villain will be introduced to challenge Saitama's strength.

The newest anime craze based on the manga One Punch Man was created for television by Madhouse and directed by Shingo Natsume who also was the director Space Dandy, Fullmetal Alchemist: The Sacred Star of Milos, launched last October 2015 and ended in December with 12 episodes. The anime version of One Man Punch Man was well received by viewers that a Season 2 is on its way.

Several sources, including Christian Post, indicated that Season 2 will continue the fight between Lord Boros and Saitama. In the previous season cliffhanger, Lord Boros almost loses to Saitama. However, Season 2 debut episode entitled The Strongest Hero will see the rise of Lord Boros with the help of his regenerative abilities which will deflect Saitama's attacks.

But Season 2 will highlight Saitama's hidden powers which is revealed to be still a no match against Lord Boros. The secret power is called Serious Punch which is reported to be Saitama's most powerful move.

Vine Report claimed that after Saitama's battle with Lord Boros, a villain called Amai Mask will challenge Saitama. Amai Mask is described as a Class A Rank 1 hero who targets Class S heroes to avenge the annihilation of his hometown.

But another report by Yibada claimed that the newest villain will be Garou. Garou was mentored by a powerful and well known guru Silver Fang and will steal and the former mastered Silver Fang's Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist. Garou is to become the arch enemy of protagonist Saitama.

One Punch Man manga creator Murata Yusuke shared on his Tweeter account that he is at the present working on the sequel which the second season will be based from. One Punch Man is reportedly to debut sometime in November to December of this year.
