The race is on for the best smartphone this 2016. Usual players like the Samsung S7 and the iPhone 7 are seen as the best, but Sony is placing their bets on the all new Xperia Z6 rumored to be packed with power and upgrades.

The Sony Z series phones are popular for their excellent build, unique design, and features that are only seen on this handsets. The company has been utilizing their trademark design on all its premium phones. This features a bar shape body with metal and glass accents. Fans all over are expecting the same unibody design for the Z6.

Rumors have it that Sony is going to give the Z6 a 4K Ultra HD screen. This move will rival iPhones Retina display and Samsung's AMOLED screen. Under the hood, the Sony Z6 will be powered by the impressive Snapdragon 820 chip with 4GB of RAM to keep multitasking a breeze. It will also be equipped with an external storage through the MicroSDX slot. The Z6 will be operated by the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow. For the camera freaks, the Z6 will feature a 23 MP rear camera, with an f 2.0 aperture, and a 5 MP front-facing camera, now that's impressive.

Additional features found only on the Z6 is its water and dust resistance ability, it means that you can take or make a call even when taking a shower. To keep its fans entertained, the Z6 will have a Hi-Res audio support and speakers, mounted at the front of the phone. Experts also say that Sony will add 3D Touch Feature, which is also a feature on the iPhone 6S.
