Huawei to enter PC market scene; Giant Chinese tech to launch its 1st laptop this year

Multiple media reports suggest that Huawei, the Chinese technology company already have plans to enter the PC business and is planning to launch its very first laptop this year. It will offer both Android and Windows operating system on the same device.

A report from a Chinese newspaper said that Huawei will partner with Intel for the processors of the device. It is rumored that one of the company's executive didn't like the thought that majority of the consumers are using Apples netbooks. This prompted them to go ahead with the intentions of getting into the PC business as reported by Gadgets 360.

According to Talk Android, the company filed for a trademark for the 'MateBook' last year and reports say that it will be the name of the company's PC lineup.  Another rumor suggest that it Huawei is planning to launch a laptop with a detachable keyboard.

Known for its devices for network equipment, it is one of the largest technology companies in the world. It employs over 170,000 people. It partnered with Google last year to launch the Nexus 6p smartphone and that's where they put their brand on the global scene. It gained a profit of $5.5 billion on a revenue of $46.5 billion says reports from Slash Gear .

It interest other people regarding the timing of Huawei's entrance in the PC arena. Experts see the market for the PC devices is shrinking over the years but they believe that the release of the Windows 10 will change the way consumers see the products.  On a different note, the company see things differently, Huawei, which is known for its affordable and competitive smartphones could be a big threat to large PC OEMs like Lenovo. The company has already done it on the smartphone category. It made other manufacturers compete with the company's low price and is now eyeing at doing the same thing on the PC category.
