A mother of one, Georgia Annie Wawman was arrested in Argentina for allegedly spearheading a gang that operated on 16 high-profile burglaries in Argentina.  She was arrested with 7 others including her ex-boyfriend and father of her child, Jose Mino.

As reported by News.au, 26 year-old Wawman and other alleged members of her gang was arrested last week for burglaries of gated communities and country clubs in Argentina. She was nicknamed "The Barbie Bandit" and dubbed as "The English Boss" by local media.

Wawman moved to Argentina from Wiltshire two years ago to live with her stepmother as reported by Mail Online.  She was arrested with the other alleged members of the gang who she told to 'Be careful about what you are going to say", while they were being held in separate cells.

Wawman's 32 year-old ex-boyfriend, Mino, was also arrested and is suspected to be a key player in the operation of the gang. He also previously served 3 and a half years in jail for robbery. Another 22 year-old called "El Perro" or 'the dog' who also works as a horse tamer was arrested with the rest of the gang.

According to Daily Star, the gang operated by dressing up as cops to avoid suspicion as they survey for targets. The police also found police uniforms when they seized "The Barbie bandit". Among other items found during the raid were sixteen gauge shotguns, and bullet proof vests.

Several other items believe to have been stolen by the gang were the thousands of pounds worth of diamonds, expensive watches, and other stolen properties salvaged during the raid. Wawman was eventually released in bail to take care of her two year old son with Mino. However, a police spokesman stated that charges are likely to be field against Wawman within the next few days.
