Samsung Galaxy A7 & A8 Android 6.0 Marshmallow Release Update

Samsung has officially confirmed the rollout of Android 6.0 Marshmallow update to Galaxy A7 and Galaxy A8 smartphones in the coming months. The upgrade is expected to come with a lot of major tweaks and optimizations.

Android 6.0 Marshmallow is report to hit up the Samsung Galaxy A7 and Galaxy A8 smartphones in the first quarter of 2016, as early as January. A total of 11 models of Galaxy A7 and two models of Galaxy A8 will receive the upgrade.

As recently revealed by a website in Newfoundland and Labrador (via Google Translate), the official release to the device of the biggest Android software in history will commence after the initial testing proves the software of best quality.

Marshmallow is confirmed rolling out to 11 models of Galaxy A7. According to list of tested Samsung devices, the software was tested on Galaxy A7 unit with model number SM - A7100. However, there are speculations that update might be moved to the second quarter of 2016.

In South Africa, Kenya, Vietnam and Cambodia, Galaxy A7 has just been updated with Android 5.0.2 Lollipop.

Galaxy A7 has a 5.5 inches display made of Super AMOLED screen protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The phone boasts a 13 MP main camera, 2 GB of RAM, and a non-removable 2600 mAh battery.
