One Direction singer Niall Horan recently expressed his desire to take it up to the next level with rumored girlfriend Selena Gomez. The global boy group participated in the variety show "The Late Late Show with James Corden" where Horan confessed.
Horan and his bandmates Liam Payne, Harry Styles, and Louis Tomlinson got inside a car driven by the host James Corden in a segment of the show called "Carpool Karaoke." As Horan was riding shotgun, he became the receiving end of the question asking which of the mentioned personalities he is going to marry, sleep, or go on a cruise with.
"Sleep with Tina Fey, let's marry Gomez and go on a cruise with Demi Lovato. Great voice, we could be singing songs," Horan answered instantly.
His choice for Selene Gomez pretty much helped in solidifying the rumor that they are dating. Gomez was then informed about Horan's candid confession to her during "Women in Music" event by Billboard and instead of denying like she did the first time, she was actually pleasantly surprised about it.
"Oh my God! No," exclaims Gomez and even adding, "I love him, I always have. He's amazing."
The rumor of the two young singers going out together started when they were spotted hanging out with friends after the American Music Awards (AMAs) last November. They were even seen by fans enjoying a roller coaster ride early in December.
Speculations that the two were more than friends doubled up after they were seen allegedly kissing one another at a birthday party by Jena Dewan-Tatum in Los Angeles.
Days before Horan confessed in the said car ride program, Gomez ultimately denied the rumor of them dating. She was even seen being serenaded by former boyfriend Justin Bieber at a hotel bar.
However, a source told a webloid that Horan and Gomez are indeed dating. "Selena was super flattered by what Niall said about wanting to marry her. In her opinion, Niall is total marriage material," states the source in an interview.
"They are in a really good place right now and looking forward to bringing in the New Year together," the insider continues, opening the idea that they might actually get married.
Despite the denial, Gomez was most recently spotted together with the One Direction vocalist leaving the London Edition Hotel on Sunday after attending The X Factor final after party.
