Prince Harry Returns To England After Naked Pictures Fiasco: What Happens in Vegas Does Not Stay There for His Royal Highness, But Should We Really be Surprised?

On Thursday Prince Harry of Wales returns to England only to face the Queen of England after nude pictures of him on his trip to Sin city, Las Vegas made headlines all over the media, leaving the young prince literally naked in the public eye.

Apparently, Prince Harry was taking some holiday time before he reported back for his military duties and a game of strip-pool got a little out of control when naked pictures of the young prince got leaked out to the press and across the Internet. On Tuesday, pictures of a very naked Prince Harry in a VIP hotel suit on the Las Vegas strip surfaced the media. Another picture of Prince holding a young woman from behind also made waves; both Harry and unknown woman were naked.

The media obviously had a field-day with yet another one of Prince Harry's mischiefs. Danielle Monaro of the radio show Elvis Duran and The Morning Show said, "The Queen must be sooo proud that Prince Harry showed us his crown jewels!!!! Lol," as reported by CNN News.

Others from the British Media pointed to embarrassment and reaction of the royal family to the Prince's behavior.

"Harry needed a rest after all that Olympic duty but it appears the fun may have got out of hand," by the Daily Mail.

The Photographs "risks embarrassing Buckingham Palace and raises questions about the prince's security arrangements," according to Daily Telegraph.

But is all the fuss a little out of proportion? After all Prince Harry has always been getting himself in and out of trouble: if not dressing up as a Nazi, then for making derogatory slurs. His playboy party-goer reputation has never been a secret. So is this naked picture fiasco really that big of deal considering Prince Harry's resume of mischief - after all he was in Vegas - and people do crazy things in the Sin City.

Reporter for Las Vegas Sun Robin Leach agrees, telling the Las Angeles Times, "That's why people come to Vegas...To let their hair down and behave badly."

John M. Glionna of the LA Times points out that Harry is not the first celebrity to caught in a compromising act while enjoying the atmosphere of Vegas- Yea obviously! However he probably is the first royal to do so. Glionna says that while the "British monarchy and many of its subjects might be aghast over published photos of playboy Prince Harry's randy and quite naked romp ...the reaction in Sin City is considerably more subdued- Vegas is yawning."

Well Vegas might be yawning, but Prince Harry will probably need to brace himself for what waits for him back at home!
